Victoriano Alvarez: A Cuban with ties to the CIA

Victoriano Alvarez is a 77-year-old University of Miami alumni who was born in Cuba. Alvarez contributed to the Central Intelligence Agency of the United States while he was in Cuba during the 60’s.

Fernando Arias and myself thought this would be a really interesting story to tell and we both had a lot of fun doing it.

A Venezuelan Foodie’s Gem in Brickell

Budare Bistro is any Venezuelan foodie’s gem just outside of the Brickell area in Miami, FL. If you’re not from Venezuela and you’re curious to try this South American country’s food, Budare is the right place to pop that cherry. And by the way: take this as your cheat meal. Because it most definitely will not be the carb-free type of meal.
